BBQ Spare Ribs

Ingredients

2 Pork belly ribs, between 1.7-2kg
150 ml Sticky BBQ basting

Rub:
1 tsp Salt
3 tsp Paprika
2 tsp Cumin
2 tsp Onion powder
1 tsp Chilli powder
2 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp Ground black pepper
6 tsp Olive oil
2 Garlic cloves
20 grams Ginger, fresh

Step by Step Instructions

1. Place all the Rub ingredients into a blender and blend together.
2. Rub the ribs on both sides using all the rub.
3. Wrap the ribs individually in tinfoil. Bake in a preheated oven for 2 hours.
4. Remove from oven. They can be braaied then immediately or the next day.
5. Baste with your basting sauce then place on a hot braai. Turn often, baste every time they are turned. Braai until golden brown and heated through.
